Main purpose of yoga is to control your mind with the help of some physical & mental practices.According to Yoga Sutras of Patanjali or we can say Ashtang Yoga, the main goal is Samadhi or liberation. Yoga is union of Body, Mind & Spirit to get the liberation.Asanas & Pranayama is the part of yoga that is taught world wide. Asana is related to physical posture & Pranayama is related to breath control.
